InfoRapid Search & Replace

InfoRapid Search & Replace is one of the most powerful text retrieval programs currently available for Microsoft Windows. With its built-in converters, it's excellently suitable for searching and previewing HTML and RTF documents. In pure text files, the found text passages can be replaced after the search is over. The search and replace process can be automated with the help of batch files to replace several phrases in one step. The found documents can be opened in a preview window, in which the matches are highlighted. A special feature is that InfoRapid can use Microsoft Office converters to search WinWord, Excel, Lotus and other documents and preview them in their original layout.

Sleuth-hound! 2.18

The Sleuth-hound! 2.18 (last freeware version) is a really full-functional hard disk search engine. If you forget what folders contain your most important documents or you want to get all the documents on a certain subject just call The Sleuth-hound!. Show several keywords to it and command Find it! The Sleuth-hound! finds all the documents that contain the keywords and shows the list of them in easy-to-navigate Results Browser. Review the list. View the text with the highlighted keywords and choose the documents you need. Click on the header or name of the document and edit it in associated application.

TreeRep 3.00

This is a simple to use string (text) search and replacement utility. This program allows you to replace a string in multiple files accross the entire directory, tree-structure, or even drives. Ideally this program is excellent for webmasters to maintain websites, or LAN/WAN administrators when you have to deal with multiple *.ini files simultaneiously. Of course, you are not limited to webpages, use this program on any text files you see it fit.

Another major feature of this program is its text searching capability in multiple files in a directory, or in multiple directories and even subdirectories. Your search can be case and non-case sensitive, or even inverse search as well. Inverse search will allow you to find all files that do not contain a word of your choice.

This program runs only under Windows95 or Windows NT 3.51 or higher and only if you have VB40032.DLL, OLEPRO32.DLL, and COMDLG32.DLL in your Windows\System directory. If you do not have VB40032.DLL you can download it from Microsoft's web site or from somewhere else.
